Great, Steve Probst our best QB injured and may play sparingly, then Brock Jackolski our best athlete on the team, he is out. Game set match. Cory Christopher will not lead us to a win. *****!

Short field on a bad punt and the 15-yard penalty made it a 43-yard drive. Delaware had no double-digit yardage plays. Just some short passes and big third down runs.

Hey UB, if you didn't already know, the live video feed is here: http://www.ums.udel.edu/udlive/

You'll need the free RealPlayer. It's only 10 secs delay from live.

Watchingit with my buddy. 4 penalties in the 1st quarter. This team just finds ways every week to beat themselves.

Right over the top of our corner. That's typically where we have Brock Jackolski. We stink.

Uncle Buck

They really need to fire Dave Cohen, they won't, but they really need to.

Hofstra WRs have the dropsies today.

Uncle Buck

We suck in all facets. Cohen does not get this team prepared and he needs to be fired.

Are you sure you weren't posting as a Delaware fan on GoHens this week? This sounds familiar. xeyebrowx

Even the UD announcers say Probst should be the guy. We suck, and our playcalling sucks even more. OC needs to get fired as well.

And yet you are very capable of winning this game still. If you guys suck, we suck just a little bit less.

Only 18,433 on hand for the game. The 20K streak is over. Bad football is starting to wear on the fans.

that and the webcast

I doubt the webcast has any effect. It's a beautiful day for football. The new pay to play parking policy which will soon be extended to stadium seating, combined with a declining product on the field (4-8 season, followed by a likely 6-5 or 5-6 season) is hurting attendance.

Final Delaware 28-24,

I feel like we stole this one, it was Hofstras game to win

Final.

Delaware improves to 6-3. Two huge games loom at Navy and Nova.

If the Hens play like they did today down in Annapolis, they are going to get blown off the field.

Congrats to Delaware.

I'm watching the Navy/Notre Dame game right now. Navy methodically marched down the field on their first possession to score a TD against Notre Dame. It won't take any internal motivation for the Hens squad to get ready for that game next week.

I won't make my score prediction yet, but it will be Navy over Delaware by multiple touchdowns.

Good game by the Hens, they hung in there but damn, another game that we did our best to beat ourselves. 12 penalties, an INT TD called back because of friggin' d-end lined up offsides, we just find ways. Playcalling stinks, minute left from the UD 30 with one timeout and we run a dive on first down. 4th and six inches and we roll out our SLOW, painfully slow QB who gets sacked for a loss of 5. Just poor coaching and poor playcalling.

Cohen, the HU special teams coach and without a doubt, the OC have to get fired. This team has done this all year, found ways to lose games. Good job UD, best of luck against Navy, but man, i am giving up my season tickets until HU undergoes some coaching changes.

Hofstra continually shot themselves in the foot with dropped passes and penalties. The 4th quarter off-sides penalty which nullified an INT return for a Pride TD was the difference in the game. UD didn't win this one, Hofstra lost it.

Congrats Hens! We were lucky to make it out of there with a W. The very very slim playoff hopes are still alive. But, I have a feeling that we are going to get pounded next week by Navy.

The best thing UD has going for them at Navy next week is today's Navy win over Notre Dame.

True.

Navy might lay down for a quarter. Or two. Maybe three??!!!!
