CSN So South: Stony Brook Jumps Ahead in Big South Race
By Myron Hosea, CSN So South Columnist

Traveling doesn’t seem to bother Stony Brook’s football team anymore. It’s been around the Northeast, bused to Virginia and even flown to the Midwest. So going on the first of two Deep South visits Saturday served as another step forward in the Seawolves’ push for the 2009 Big South title.

Does Liberty deserve to get an at-large bid if they don't win their conference?

Yeah, and both are true freshman. It can't be understated how young this Liberty team is this season. We've got some great seasons ahead if we can hold onto Rocco.

Yeah, we have some awesome names. SirChauncey clearly being the coolest name in FCS football.

It was awesome when SirChauncey scored a touchdown against Coastal, who has a mascot named Chauncey.

Like I thought.. all the mod's here have hidden agenda's and make up infractions against members whom they don't like. You're all a bunch of f u c king cowards. All you're doing is causing everyone to go over to CHAMPIONSHIPSUBDIVISION.COM and never come back to this pathetic site. It is truly amazing that so many immature cowards subjectively moderate this place without any accountability or repercussions for their actions. Go **** yourselves **** stains!!!

While the press is nice for now , we still have to go on the road and beat CSU on the 14th. CSU is a team we only beat by 1 point last year due to 2 fluke kicks hitting the uprights. That being said Liberty will be our toughest opponet since we played UMass several weeks ago. They are well coached and talented and play well on the road.
The 21st should be a good one.

Sorry Seawolf.... you guys are playing for 2nd place! There is no way, shape or form that SB has a chance of upsetting Liberty.

If we take the team that we took to Charleston Southern then there's a real chance they upset us.

If we show up to play we can beat any team in this league. If we don't show up and the other team does, we can be beaten.

Come on Keenan. That's crap and you know it. xnonox We are better than them, but we have to go out and win the game.

I dont see us losing if the title and possible playoffs are on the line. But I didn't see us losing to Presby last year either. Stuff happens.

Hmmmm, that vaguely sounds like something the Yankees said about the Red Sox earlier this decade....and yeah
