CCSU should be in the Top 25 or at least a lot closer than they are.

Butler has more votes than a team that beat a top 25 team, JMU... Haha

For the record, we've beaten two teams in this Top 25 and there are a LOT of teams ahead of us that haven't done that. Fortunately these polls have very little to do with your ultimate success at thsi level.

The way your offense is playing, I say that vote is deserved.

I'm just confused as to how SFA is still top 15 while the team that beat them this week didn't even get into the poll.

What is it about a 4-loss Weber State team that everyone is so high about?

" James Madison 56, Grambling 37, Tennessee Tech 29, Maine 27, Alabama A&M 19, Jacksonville 19, Chattanooga 18 "

Glad to see TTU (5-3) get some votes. I was hoping the AGS poll would throw us a bone for at least 5 votes this week. NOT AT ALL suggesting that they are a Top 25 team, just wanted a little recognition / publicity, that's all. They go to Georgia this week and Jax St. the following Saturday, so getting anymore ORV might be tough.

The only loss you can drop them in the polls for is Montana State. They dropped for that weeks ago. There's really not been much since that you can drop them for. Games against two FBS teams and the #2 team in the country aren't games they're expected to win.

So riddle me this:

Where should a three-loss team with losses by one point to #1, by 10 points to #5, and by 12 points to a team in the ORVs ( just like Montana State) be ranked? Don't even give me a number. Just say either "higher" or "lower" than 5-4 Weber St.

Three Patriot League clubs in the Top 25. Nice work, Holy Cross, Colgate and Lafayette!

Love it. If Colgate gets by Lafayette this week, and ends the regular season with a 10-1 record, a CAA team will be very disappointed as I see no way the committee will omit a 10-1 Colgate team in favor of a 7-4 UMASS or Delaware team. Especially when their only loss could be to the league champ in Holy Cross.

It is refreshing to see you guys getting some much deserved recognition, as well as winning the Sgt. York trophy. Keep this up and you'll have teams running scared in the OVC. Good on ya!

And for that matter, where would you put JMU. The only loss they should be dropped for is the Hofstra loss. Losses to 1, 4, 5 and to an FBS (in OT) with wins over 16 and 23.

I may go to Holy Cross/Lafayette just to root for LaFayette while I wear my Toman jersey.

Losses don't tell the whole story. You'd have to look at their wins. And see that in this particular case Weber has one more DI win and a win over a top-25 team. They'd be in the same ballpark, but Weber's win over EWU gives them the edge by a few spots.

Good to see the Mocs catching a little love, too, after all they have been through. Expecting a good showing by them in Boone this weekend.
