Dartmouth defeated Columbia Saturday, 28-6, behind 242 rushing yards from sophomore tailback Nick Schwieger. Find a 3-minute video that shows just how good it feels to break a 17-game losing streak here (http://biggreenalertblog.blogspot.com/2009/10/gorgeous-day.html).

That may be tough but they played in the preseason and the Schwieger kid had 101 yards in the first half - not counting a 50-yard run that was called back. He he can run like that, you never know.

I would be incredibly surprised if Dartmouth beat Harvard, just kind of a crazy pipe dream.

runs just over 3 minutes and will give chills to those with green blood and others who understand what this team has battled through.
What did Dartmouth battle through?

What did Dartmouth battle through?

Through 17 consecutive losses for the team that has won the most Ivy League championships in history. Undefeated in 1996 and not a winning season since 1997.

Nice video. When Columbia had its 44-game losing streak back in the 80s, Princeton was its first victim.xreadx Looks like Princeton will lose to Dartmouth this year, too.

I remember when Colgate lost 16 straight over three seasons, 1994-96. When we finally beat Brown to snap the streak, it was joyous.

Very odd... what's the story behind that? I don't see the Green pouring money into other sports.
