With Dudzik expected to miss at least the remainder of the regular season, coach Mickey Matthews says Kavon Seaton is now the Dukes' backup behind starting quarterback Justin Thorpe.

The team had been redshirting Seaton, a true freshman from California.


If Seaton serves as the backup and never plays, can he still redshirt or does he lose his redshirt just by being listed as no. 2 on the depth chart?
