What's the word Lions?

I'm hearing from several sources and seeing posts on the Lions' Den that Buck Buchanan Award Watch List candidate Tommy Connors may have suffered a season-ending injury against Ole Miss? Medical redshirt, if true?

I know it's a sensitive subject, but whatever you can provide would be appreciated.

That would really suck. The kid is a player.

It does suck, and definitely sucks for Tommy, but that's a position where we have quality depth...toughest thing to replace will be Tommy's leadership, but we actually have better athletes behind him...whether they can replace his production and knack for finding the football remains to be seen, but I don't anticipate much drop off.

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University defensive back Tommy Connors was evaluated by team doctors on Monday for his injured right thumb sustained in the first quarter of Saturday’s contest at No.
