I wonder how many of the 14,876 at Franklin Field last night were Nova fans.

Only 5,709 at Stony Brook for the Brown game last night. It seemed like there were more fans than that.

The Harvard-Brown game next week should be a big crowd. Last time they played in Cambridge, there were 19,000 fans.

App State had like 28,000 and some at their game against McNeese State.

It will be Harvard's best home crowd of the year. Yale is on the road this year, and the Penn game will be lucky to draw 15K even if it's for all the marbles.

I was at the game, and I'd probably say about a third were Nova fans. Good showing from the Penn student section. Typical first game crowd, we'll see how many are there at the next game.

JSU @ Alabama A&M Attendance: 2906
Pitiful, I know... half of that number were JSU fans.
Although it had rained most of the day and until about the end of the 1st quarter, I had really expected a better turnout from a 2-0 AAMU fan base.

5709 isnt bad for Long Island. We would probably draw a little more for lacrosse though. Our game at Hofstra two weeks ago drew 7160 I believe on Labor Day weekend. Once again thats not bad . Even if we had the seating we wouldnt draw 19k or more unless we had a home game with Ohio State.
Good Game last night by the way xthumbsupx

13,910 for the McNeese State vs. Savannah State game. We won 56-0. Should be a larger crowd next home game.

I know it was away attendance but Jacksonville State played before 45,000 at Georgia Tech and 71,000 at Florida State. Alabama A&M usually turns out big but the rain must have scared them off up there. JSU doesn't have a home game until October 3 (UT Martin).

8,900 for Liberty @Lafayette at Fisher Stadium. Not too bad, but hitting 10k would've been nice.

Cant complain all that much as a few years ago we would have got about 4k for a non homecoming or family weekend crowd

A disgusting 5,530 saw MSU play MSU in the pouring rain.

Last year it would have been announced something like 10,500, but they're only reporting actual attendance this year.

2,180 announced for NU-YSU.

However, because of the traffic near Parsons Field caused by Rosh Hashannah (one of the largest synagogues in Boston is about a block from Parsons), getting from NU's campus to the field was apparently impossible.

I wasn't at the game, I was praying (spare the jokes that NU needs a lot more than a prayer this season), but those who went said the busses from NU's campus to Parsons were nearly inoperable.

I find that surprising...They should have had at least 20K there with everyone within 30 min. of each other and all the alums...When we played at Penn back in 2005, there were 20,000 in the stands, with both bands rockin'. Franklin Field at night with a raucous crowd is awesome.

Not sure if or how much the following affected attendance:
1. UK-Uof L game earlier (20 miles away) and those who had too much
" beverage" to make it to two games; I know of several who were planning on attending both games but don't know if they actually made it
2. the forecast of rain for the evening (although it turned out to be great weather for a night game).

Brown draws well below 5709 quite often, so that number's not bad at all; How big is your stadium capacity?

Our announced attendance was 7,511.

Some felt that number may be a little low, including UR's beat writer. I have no clue, but it seemed to be a pretty good crowd from my vantage point.

Idle's fans know how to throw a MEAN tailgate. The spread they put out is just like you'd get at home.

OPEN, now that's a school that needs to learn how to tailgate.

Definitely packed. They turned away over 1,000 students at the gate ... something I've never seen before at JMU. Usually they pack us in like sardines but they literally turned away over a thousand and they place was rockin.
