As Dukies95 already pointed out on the JMU @ Maryland In Game Thread. I thought this should have its own thread. Its play #8

The 6'1", 210 lb rJr Drew Dudzick in

a little over a half against Montana:
6 of 13 passing for 70 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT
12 carries for 88 yards, 2 TDs

in 10 of 14 possessions against Maryland:
9 of 15 passing for 141 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT
14 carries for 112 yards, 1 TD

So in about 5 quarters against pretty good competition he is:
15 of 28 for 211, 2 TDs, 1 INT
26 carries for 200 yards, 3 TDs, no lost fumbles.

Not the punishing type runner Landers was, but probably a little better passer. Not quite the passer that Justin Rascatti was, but probably a little better runner. Not a pro prospect, but from what JMU fans have seen so far, hard to explain, but he seems to have the "it" factor.

6'2", 210 rFr Justin Thorpe who might be a slightly better runner and a little bigger arm may be the "sexier" pick, and I would imagine both will split duties against VMI, but I think by the end of this month Dudzick is named the full time starter.

Just like Landers had to redshirt and then wait 2 years behind Rascatti, and Dudzick had to redshirt and then wait 2 yrs behind Landers, Thorpe had to redshirt and then might have to wait 2 yrs behind Dudzick.
