McNair honored and the Labor Day Classic tussle
As the SWAC begins a new football season, its focus will be on an icon of its past.
Beginning Saturday – and for the entire 2009 season – each of the 10 teams will wear a No. 9 decal in honor of former Alcorn State quarterback Steve McNair, whose life was tragically cut short in July.
