I looked up SME broadcasting this evening as they have done some FCS stuff over the past two years. Sorry to see this on their website:

The SME Network wants to thank our fans for their support over the
past three years. Unfortunately, due to the troubled economy, the
SME Network has been forced to suspend operations.

During the last two years, we have been searching for private/equity
investment sources to fund the expansion of the network. Last
summer one was found, which sparked the network to expand in
many areas, and had future plans in the works. It was an exciting
time to be around the Network.

However, due to the economy, our investor lost money with another
venture in another project and the group was forced to back out of
all current projects. This left SME in a terrible situation.

We now need to locate another investment source prior to returning
to operations. We hope to have this situation taken care of in a
timely manor and hope to return in some capacity this season. "

They struggled to gain much traction in the FCS world...

Some of their initiatives were great (namely the broadcaster's poll), but after a strong start, they couldn't continue to build on the momentum and never truly caught on...

They'll be missed, though I am sure another FCS media partner will come on in their place...

I'll miss their weekly broadcasts. The two announcers really knew the teams well.:(

That is sad to see. Hopefully they will return!

Must be different than the two that were doing their predictions and reporting when they first came on the scene... those two were a complete joke. xeyebrowx
