Well better late than never, but Richmond has a Championship Banner up at old UR Stadium. I wonder if they will bring the banner with them to First Market next season.

Cool. I would imagine that something permanent is planned at the new stadium.

xeyebrowx That's something you do at the first home game the next year. IMO it's early, not late. xpeacex

Congratulations... and it's still kind of weird to understand that Richmond won it all. I mean that in a positive way ;)

Is it just me or is there an awkward space after the second N in National? --- NATION AL ?

No it is not just you, I think they are two separate banners that need to be moved a little closer together. Supposedly someone is working on it... I know there is a plan to raise a national title "flag" inside the stadium for the first home game, but that banner is on the outside to basically remind everyone who drives by on the Powhite Parkway that a pretty good football team plays in that stadium, and they should get themselves to a game..

AL CHAMPIONS

They got a great deal on those letters from last years AL Pennant winners, Tampa Devil Rays. Notice the same colors....coincidence? I think not. xlolx

We're raising a Championship flag at the 1st home game.

I wish they put the thing up back in December. Hundreds of thousands of cars have driven past there since December. Its good publicity.
Why wait?

Then what was your original point/joke if the colors are different?
