What the??? Wasn't it like 80 degrees for the TSU/CP game?? I could be wrong though.

UNI proved last week that cold weather isn't a concern.

I think he was being sarcastic....because everyone said that last week about UNI going to UNH.

I take it you're calling Texas State TSU correct?

I've seen TSU used many a time on AGS and have used it frequently myself.
I type in "Texas State" in google, and this is the first result I get.

http://www.txstate.edu/

I don't think that anyone on AGS at this time is confusing TSU for anything other than Texas State University/San Marcos. If they are....eff 'em.

Yes.

Texas Southern University
Tarleton State University
Texas State University at San Marcos

While going through the name change process in Austin, the administration at Southwest Texas State promised they wouldn't use the acronym.

I honestly think the colder it gets (thank god we are playing at night) and the poorer the playing conditions the advantage goes to UNI, I will take a bunch of Iowa kids playing in 35 degree weather (ideal for them) over a bunch of Texas kids (35 degrees, get the parka) any day. Who knows though, this is going to be a GREAT football game!

Well, the people here on AGS are not the administration of Texas State, so it only applies to the school not using it. :coach:

The field is Astroplay....no problem with the conditions. It's gonna be cold all week and I'd bet they are practicing at night under the lights. I don't think the cold will hurt either team. Should be a great game.

By the way the proper acronym per the university is TXST.
