View Full Version : Lehigh getting FBS lineman?

Reported on the Lehigh board that the Mountain Hawks may be getting a transfer from U of Cincinnati. One Blake McCroskey, OL 6'5" 295 lb. Supposedly was interested in Colgate but wants to major in business and with Lehigh having a nationally ranked business college we may be the beneficiary. Don't know if anyone has any confirmation of this??

Guess we'll know in Aug if he's listed for camp. Was a 2** coming out of HS a redshirt at Uof Cinc.

It has been confirmed that McCroskey out of Cincinnati, is on the roster in the new Lehigh Media Guide on the Lehigh website. Mountain Hawks appear to be bolstering the ol' OL with some major size and with quality undergrads seeing starting/playing time.

Always nice to have FBS quality linemen on a FCS team. Plenty of great skill players in FCS, but a lot of schools lack the big ol' boys that can control the trenches.

Nothing like a good, big offensive lineman. Word was he wanted a good business school and he found it at Lehigh. He also considered Colgate but chose the Engineers.

Confirmed? I don't see a 2009 Media Guide at the Lehigh site. But the addition would be great.

Yes. Go the University's sports website. Click on 'Football'. On the righthand side of the next screen will be various links to the schedule, roster, etc. Click on 'recruiting guide' and a list of the various sports' publications will appear. Click on 'football' and the 2009 Media appears. McCroskey, photo and bio is included.
