UTM Football Players Pick Up Awards for Offseason Workouts
MARTIN, Tenn. - Trace McDermott, Darren Fizer and Gerald Guffin earned All-American rankings for their effort earlier this spring but it wasn’t on the gridiron. The three UT Martin football players claimed their distinction by earning the most points in the team’s offseason weight program.
McDermott, Fizer and Guffin earned a power index score of more than 620 to earn their All-American status.
