That should look good when the smoke clears.....I can't wait until I can see significant progress on the new stadium for SIU....

Looks great. I remember going by your stadium in the late 90'S when I was in Anniston. Looks like things have come a long way. Best wishes.

looks great but those stands look puny in front of that massive structure but i guess judging by the illustration the stands will be expanded as well which is good...

Appfan, the stands will reach up four floors on the tower. It will be a major second deck which is where most of the seats will be added. This currently is the small side of our field but will become the biggest when completed. At 24,000 seats it will put JSU in the top bracket of FCS stadiums I would think.

Wow, that stadium is coming along very nicely. It's going to look great when it's done. Just out of curiosty, are you guys looking to move up to FBS as well?

We will probably move to the FBS after the moratorium (sp?) ends. The BOT seems to be ready to move.

If you meant move up to FBS, the answer is yes. I think we are gonna use the moratorium time to study the best way to implement the plan...

Ah good catch. I did mean FBS and not FCS. It'd be great for our teams to meet in the SBC after the moratorium lifts.

If I had to guess, that is what I say would happen, unless there is a conference shift, which there well may be.
