Good article and definitely an interesting journey to get there. Back in my playing days, we had a QB named Carlos Garay. He came in as a QB transfer from West Virginia, but found himself behind other established players. He became our WR/ST/ATH and finally, in '94 he was our starting QB.

He went on to have a great season, maybe Archer will find the same success. It looks like he is pretty capable based on his outing against Nova.

I expect Archer to have a great season. Kid is a competitor and a winner. He will be our best running Qb since Corley and he knows the offense. He's an accurate passer that just s needs to develop timing with the receivers IMO.

Archer stepped in and played well against Nova, especially in the second half. His numbers are even more impressive considering we had no real running game, played from behind the whole game (obvious passing situations) and got a lot pressure from Villanova's pass rush.

Offense should be dynamic if the OL comes together.

Good Luck to Archer and the Tribe, 2009. Not sure why they call the Tribe vs Spiders a rivalry. There is no team in the CAA that we root for more than you guys. We are so similar and cordial to each other is it unreal. All and all you guys will always be my #2 team. OK, you all and Geogia Southern.
