View Full Version : How to beat ASU

LC is doing to us what Chattanooga did. Run up the middle, and hit the short passes. Stay balanced and we can't overload to one or the other.

If UC's quarterback played like LC's has, we'd be 7-4 and not in the playoffs.

Exact thing Furman did as well against App.

If this is true, SIU has a real good shot on beating App St next week in Boone. This is going to be a war.

It will be interesting to say the least

I say whoever stops Richardson or Whitlock wins the game

the one advantage we have is that Richie is alot more mobile than Sambursky

Like I said this is going to be a war. Game is going to come down to who can impose their will running the ball better. It is going to be a knockdown, drag down slugfest.

Don't mind those guys. They're drunk on their sour grapes, when they should be downing their sorrows on the good stuff at Crapsville. The only borderline he's referring to is their mental state waa waa waa waa

Learn grammar. It's "you're" not "your". I considered it ironic that you would call someone an idiot yet not be able to use correct grammar. See the irony now?

Sambursky has over a thousand yards rushing in his career. I was being a bit sarcastic.

With the running backs they have had the last couple of years, he hasn't had to run as much. It doesn't mean he can't. He had 487 yards his freshman year.

People talk about the favorable seeding we received. Well, the teams we have been paired with are the kinds of teams that give us fits. Teams that run the ball well, especially up the gut are going to give us trouble. I think next week v. SIU will, in fact, be a war. I am going to assume that the Salukis are a better team than a Lafayette team that gave us all we wanted. Anyone who thinks we are going to have an easy time of it next week is out of touch with reality.

I agree. No disrespect to Lafayette, but I think we're going to have to play better to win this coming weekend. With that said, I think we will. The leadership for ASU has come through all season, and I won't doubt them now. GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Bull ****. We played 4 of our previous 6 on the road. And missed the last two play-offs entirely.
Check your facts before you spread your whiny bull**** around.

Tip a last second FG that statistically speaking would have been missed.

You act like your FG kicker is Neil Rackers (i.e. perfect on the year from any distance) and not a guy that was 8-16 on the year. Hardly a "given" that even without the tip that he makes that FG. Heck on kicks over 30 yards he was 2-9 on the year. He was 0 for 4 on kicks over 40 yards. That particular kick was 41 yards.

Hmmm...didn't know you needed ties to the committee when you win the auto-bid from your conference.

Try this, why not stop scheduling D2 teams, then maybe you'll make the playoffs...
