Did you purposely leave out your second favorite team Chicky?

I hope it isn't us or SHSU. I want another shot at them!!! We really were not THAT bad last year.

Based on the recent history of the Big Sky... the farthest that the Cubbies can stumble... is from 1st place is to a tie... for 1st place. ;)

From the talk around the league this year it might be a 5 way tie. EWU, Portland State, Montana State, and Northern Arizona are all beating their chests. Oh wait, they do that every year. :D

Sam Houston State has a solid defense returning. Two nice QBs, who most schools wouldn't mind. And if the WR plays a bit higher than we're expecting, the Kats should contend. 7-4.

I'll go with UNH.Might as well be realistic about it.

Based on what all the A10 guys say about it being such a tough league :p I'll go with UNH too. Even though they don't play JMU or UD.

Had Sam Houston only lost Long, I would agree. But the loss of your stud WR (Mathenia?) in addition to Long is going to hurt. I think making the playoffs with unproven WR's and a new QB is going to be tough. I feel the same way about our team. We're fortunate to have a talented running back and one experienced WR that will hopefully take some pressure off a new QB and some young supporting WR's.

W&M. I think they'll miss their QB a lot.

ditto. Jimmye Laycock is very good at developing QB's though.

Sam Houston State

Replacing your QB and most of your WR when you're a pass-oriented team is a tough thing to deal with.
