View Full Version : AGS Software Upgrade Notice

Loyal and dear AGS members,

Due to the success of our annual donation drive we are happy to announce the upgrade of the software (the best available) that operates AGS! At midnight EST on Thursday, January 22 we will be closing the board for the upgrade procedure, and will be reopened as soon as it is finished. It is expected to take less than two hours.

The procedure entails a large upgrade but all the data will remain. The look and feel will be migrated back after the board reopens and may take a few days to completely return to what it is now.

Thanks to all the members of AGS that allows this upgrade to happen so that we all can benefit at the home of the greatest FCS discussion in the universe.

Yeah hopefully all the threads will be still be available after the upgrade. Good to see though...

ok well first this quick reply box at the bottom of the page is real narrow...

Are there any major changes with the upgrade we should know about?

That would be great. It's not such a huge deal having to post them to another service first, but it's an extra step that probably has stopped me from post more photos. xpeacex

AGS Community -

Please note that we have temporarily turned off the social groups, photo albums and visitor messaging at this point. These are the new features that came with the upgrade of the board.

Our technical staff is working to make sure that everything is working at 100% and complete a few other changes before we make these available.

When they do become available, I will come back and inform you that we are a "go for launch".
