It was a weird article title. The money issues would result from a break-up, not agreeing to stay together.

Agreed, not really anything new in this.

As for the traveling, try San Marcos, TX to UNC or Cal Poly, or SDSU.... it's not that different for other conferences. But, I think it is a concern for alot of them.

Even if they don't go into detail, reading between the lines, money is a concern here, as elsewhere and is likely the best reason to not spilt.... until it is feasible.

That's a long trip for a league game. You can some what control non conference travel.

Agreed - bad job by the guy writing the title of the article, seems like he didn't even read it himself.

No story out of these meetings. There's no fundamental reason for anyone to leave the conference at this time so the conference isn't going to change. Like any conference, CAA or other, if there's a reason for someone to leave they will. Size of the league, though, isn't shaping up to be a very important reason at this time.
