I have no idea about the salary comparisons, but Bobby Johnson was DC at Clemson before he came to FU as HC. So, a trend may be developing. Napier is a killer recruiter, as well as being excellent at motivation and utilization of talent. All things we seem to be lacking right now.

That's true and I had forget about BJ being DC. I like Napier and had always had in the back of my mind him as apossible FU head coach. One never knows. I always thought BJ took FU for two reasons, One he always thought he should have had the job over Satterfield. and two, wanting to be a head coach and being a little older than Napier, he decided FU was his shot. I believe Napier probably has the same goal, but age gives him a little more time.

There should be a way to find out what puiblic school coaches get paidxnodx

I'd see him going to FU in a couple of years - depending on how successful they turn are at Clemson. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Napier is probably most famous for going 13-13 passing in a national semifinal game at Paulson in 2001, engineering Furman to the finals, giving GSU its first ever home playoff loss and ending the Paul Johnson/Adrian Peterson era.

He was a wonderful QB. I would rate him very close to one of FUs best.

He killed Lehigh when Furman played the Hawks in the 2001 quaterfinals. Very good QB from what i saw that year.
