I guess Mark LeGree's 10 INTs just wasn't enough to land him on the list.

I was waiting on a third list to come out before I posted it. I will post the unanimous picks, to date, here in a few minutes.

I guess if you started it now, it would be less work later on...

One thing to remember is that if you put all of those guys on the list then someone from another league is going to complain that there were CAA snubs or Big Sky snubs or whatever. There will always be a player or two or three :) snubbed from a team. You just have to be happy to get a player on 1 or 2 AA teams. If a player is truly worthy you have to think that he will be named to the AFCA, Walter Camp, AP, TSN, CSN, Phil Steele, Dopke, Don Hansen, etc. It is truly an honor to be named an All-American by just one outlet, let alone to be a unanimous selection.

Not picking on you but for those who felt they have a player snubbed they should pick their own All-America team and post it and then be prepared to be picked apart by other fans. No matter who is selected nobody will be 100 percent satisfied and those who vote can't try and please everyone because it is impossible to please everyone all of the time.

Is it just me or does the sheer number of AA teams take away some of the prestige of being an AA? Its hard to keep all the AA teams straight and IMO there are too many voting organizations as is.

My question is whether there is one or two oraganizations that select AA teams that are seen as "THE" AA Teams? In FBS there only seem to be a few and that honor seems much more prestigious than what seems to be the FCS AA Team of the week.

No, only the TSN takes away from the prestige from being an AA. They name a 1st team, a 2nd team, a 3rd team, and then about a 1/2 doz teams worth of"'honorable mention" which is a joke. They'll name 200-300 guys "AA".

Would you people quit complaining about Mark LeGree not making it? Ten picks doesn't make up for the fact he's got a measly 58 tackles.
