Actually looks more like Brian Fantana, but that is a different discussion. Good for the Redbirds even though I don't know much about him.

As long as he likes not winning, he should be ok. ;)

Tough to lose Spack at Purdue. I think he was hoping to be heir to Joe Tiller, but lost out to former Tiller assistant (and EKU head coach) Danny Hope. It was almost as if Hope was rewarded for leaving Purdue and showing he could be successful at some level. Should Hope struggle at Purdue and Spack succeed at ISU then one would think Spack would receive consideration to return to the Boilers as head...

Cannonball!!!

I also can see him leaving after 3-4 years to go back to Pudue, reguardless, we needed a change, I was hoping for a more offensive minded coach, But I will fully support this hire and continue to cheer my BIRDS on to victory!!!

While Drew Brees and Kyle Orton are two high profile former Boilermakers, Brock Spack has done an incredible job (much better than the offensive side of the ball) getting talent into the NFL...

Chike Okefor - Arizona (3rd round)
Landon Johnson - Carolina (3rd round)
Cliff Avril - Detroit (3rd round)
Stu Schweigert - Deroit (3rd round)
Anthony Spencer - Dallas (1st round)
Gilbert Gardner - Chicago (3rd round)
Niko Koutouvides - Denver (4th round)
Jacques Reeves - Houston (7th round)
Bernard Pollard - Kansas City (2nd round)
Akin Ayodele - Miami (3rd round)
Rosevelt Colvin - New England (4th round)
Rob Ninkovich - New Orleans (5th round)
Shaun Phillips - San Diego (4th round)
Craig Terrill - Seattle (6th round)
Standford Keglar - Tennessee (4th round)
Ray Edwards - Minnesota (4th round)

Plus three other defenders who were drafted in 2000 and 2003 who are no longer in the NFL. But of the 19 drafted from 1999 - 2008 sixteen are still out there on NFL rosters.

If coaching doesn't work out he could always be a policeman or fireman.
