Does your team wear Nike jerseys?

One thing that really irks me from when I palyed in the early 2000s was the fact that we had such trashy uniforms. I-AA uniforms at the the time were complete trash compared to our 1-A brethren. You could look at a 1-AA player in the 2000s and just see how much worse his uniform looked than a 1-A player that was wearing a sharp Nike outfit. Nowadays, even high school guys have sharp Nike Uniforms. I am just wondering if your FCS school wears Nike. If I am not mistaken, the first 1-AA school to wear Nike was Georgia Southern University when they had them my sophomore year in 1999.

I first noticed Delaware's uni's when they played Maryland on ESPN early this season. My junior year at The Citadel ( 2000) we went up and played Delaware and got worked. Anyhow, it seems like the new uniforms have a much brighter blue than the old ones. Am I right?

I wouldn't mind seeing GSU get with the program and get some under armor uniforms...however, most of our "good ole boy" fans would throw a fit if we changed anything...

i like Wofford's uniforms...they're pretty good. i also think they wear black socks.

However, my favorite uniforms in the SOCON are those of the Chattanooga Mocs. I love the "metallic mustard" that they wear on away games..it really gets the crowd going.

I don't think we wear socks that long. I think it would be nice to "tweek" the jerseys though.

the Citadel's jerseys are a not so special IMO, you can't really make a real creative design with the colors they have (that's the main reason).

Fair assesment. I believe that our uniforms are sweet because very few teams wear that light blue and I believe it makes us stand out. Anyhow, I also think W&M, Georgetown, Richmond, Elon, etc have nice unis

ASU football and basketball wears Nike...track/CC and soccer wear adidas. Not sure how those kinds of contracts work.

In fact, there's an adidas ASU replica jersey, #14, that I've seen for sale all over the NC High country.

SOOOO, this picture is just a figment of my imagination? Also, season ticket holder here and friends with the Equipment Manager. The other pic that you referenced is obviously a result of shade on the players helmet. Also, you guys have a great program, a tough coach, and physical players----why cant you get more people to Gibbs stadium in Spartanburg?

App wears Nike......but I remember we wore Russell I believe my freshman year of 2005. We made a big stink about not switching to Nike after 1st NC...I remember seeing Charlie Cobb being quoted saying, "They didnt want us before, so we dont want them now" or something to that effect. Needless to say, Nike must have thrown a deal at us that was too pretty and we feel into their trap. But...sweet jerseys we got now nonetheless.

Exactly. They are identical to Kentucky and basically the same as Virginia Tech and a few others (with a different color scheme).

This year they wore Blue on White at home, although they did play at least 1 game Blue on Blue (I don't like that).

Not everybody loves football and sadly not everyone wants to got a Wofford game more than a USC or Clemson game which, in my opinion, is kind of stupid because we are more successful on our level than they have been in years.

Wow, those are some reasons about attendance that I did not contemplate. El Cid has an even smaller alumni base, but Charleston is probably a better draw. You guys have the Beacon--I love that place but can only eat there once a year at most.
