Interesting stat this week after both teams winning, The Grizzlies and the Mountain Hawks are the only I-AA teams winning at least 8 games each year for the past 8 years. Maybe we get to meet this year for the first time. :D

We have 12 straight completed years over 8 wins a season and at 133 wins in 12 years (1993-2004) we average 11 wins a season. This season will make 13 straight 8 wins or more. Also we have 20 straight winning seasons in a row this year (1986-2005).

OK, how bad is this. I was a student and watched from the Dornblazer bleachers as the last losing season unfolded!!!!

And in just a few years you'll start getting mail from AARP, that's how long it's been since we had a losing season. :D

That's quite an accomplishment, for both squads.

That's a trip I'd definitely take. We've only been out west twice in my memory for a regular season game, other then game at Cal-Davis in 1977 in the NCAA semi-finals. Have your AD send an invitation to Joe Sterrett offering to cover the travel cost! :D

I was never a UM student, but I can recall watching Griz games from Dornblaser as well. Hmmm, I recall those were the days when the Cats were the team from Montana consistently on the national spotlight.

Georgia Southern has had only one losing season since they started football.

Their record was 4 - 7 in 1996. :o
