GWFC IAA (0-0), DII (61-40) (I know it doesn't matter here, but not bad for 6 teams)

Hopefully Hampton can help that record out this year and SC. State if they make it to the playoffs.

Never heard of this "division 1" or "division 1AA."

Are they anything like Division I-A or Division I-AA?

Hey Ralph, can I have a t-shirt or something?

Every team will want CCU in the first round. Good chance for App State, Furman or Georgia Southern to advance. I don't think App State will get them in the first round since they already used their free pass earlier in the year. ;)

www.cfbdatawarehouse.com is great, too. Has almost all the scores, etc of I-A and I-AA, D-2 teams from their first years.

Depending how the seeds fall, I could easily see a CCU-GSU game in Statesboro, with the winner headed to Boone for a quarterfinal matchup. The way ASU dispatched both in the regular season, may mean ASU has a shot a 2nd free pass :o

Although a GSU match-up would create much more buzz (everywhere except AGS :D ) suffice to say that should that match-up occur, I'd be praying for a CCU miracle...unless I'm wrong, we've only beaten GSU once in the playoffs...a CCU return trip wouldn't bother me as much, though it might be closer than our earlier dis-mantling of the Chandeliers. But, either way, I'd look for ASU to make it to the semi's.

What a great site! Can't believe it has eluded me this long...There is a sticky thread at the top of this board called ESSENTIAL I-AA LINKS... both are listed among many others.

I was thinking more along the lines that it was simply funny and tongue-in-cheek as we have never had a team make it yet. Thought I'd point out the obvious. :D

I've never encountered any as of yet. The slate for my alma mater is intact all the way back to 1928 when we began football and matches those in the ASU Media Guide.
Supposedly, the information is as the individual institutions furnish them to the site.
I will be on the lookout, however.
Thanks.

All I can say is that it shortchanges Fordham on 300 all-time wins. I'm kind of guessing if it is so wrong about the one team I know most about, then there's got to be other mistakes there too.

One thing that statistically must be considered: Play-off games pitting one confernce member against another from the same confernce would have to be thrown out since that is a no win situation for one of the teams. Statistically, both could possibly have won vs other teams in the same round.
