Don't know if there is another thread on this game.

Almost 3 minutes left in the half.

Furman 7

Furman 4 & 2 at the Terriors 4.

Who would benefit more from a win?

Would Wofford get a home game in the playoffs with a victory?

Lamb goes for the 1st down at the Terrior 4 and fails. Big stop by the Wofford defense.

I believe that Lamb should have kicked the FG.

BUT, I am not a coach.xlolx

This will come back to haunt the Paladins.

Some would say Lamb shouldn't be one either. ;)

Mediocrity. Furman drops to 7-5; 6-5 last year... we look aweful. I am utterly disgusted with the Administration, the coaching staff, and the head coach. We are laying down and dying. Our players don't deserve this; we have the talent, we don't have the coaches to get them motivated and ready to win. Furman has lost 4 conference games, and the Admin. doesn't seem to care. They will always say next year, but this year shows that there is never going to be the "next year".

Hopefully we can get a home game now, we definitely deserve one.

Ouch! Well all I can say is better luck next year.

You guys have probably earned a home game, but if you are paired with SC State you are probably going to have to go to Orangeburg. They seat 20,000 plus and the NCAA is all about the $$$.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but that's probably what will happen.

I think we can offer them enough money to make them give us a home game.

I don't know, SC State has had about 15 years to save up for a bid offer. Either way, I'll head to whatever 'Burg is hosting the game.

BTW, anyone know what time the selections will be made?

They said on the radio that Wofford bid for all three rounds, I think Sc state only bid 2...

As a side note. Mike Ayers could have put 21 more points on the board. The 2nd string offense played the entire 4th quarter. However it is typical classy Wofford football to not rub the score in the opponents face.

I think Mike Ayers is just getting ready for the 2009 season.
