Which player do you really love hearing the announcers call out.

For me it's Furman's Uhaa. During the Ga Southern game it was funny hearing the announcer go HOOO WAHH with a first down.

Sione Fale'ofa - UT Martin Skyhawk linebacker. Favors and has the hair out of the helmet like Troy Polamalu with the Steelers. Eastern Kentucky fans will oohh and ahhh about him this Saturday.

Our PA guy and his southern drawl makes most of the names pretty fun.

Couple of my favorites...

"Spen-sah Lahndis"
"Rashad Jennins"

And then just his announcements, the way he says some things are just funny. And sometimes he gets really excited when he starts the "first down" announcement and it get's pretty ridiculous.

I don't know how the guys do it when people chant their name. When I went to App the only time I was on the field during a game was during Homecoming when I was on homecoming court. I was the only greek on the court and all the fraternities and sororties were chanting my name and I got goose bumps and chills all over.

Current Elon Player: Scott Riddle
Past Elon Players: Chad Nkang (Do you have any idea how fun it is to scream NKANG?)
And then I know we used to have a basketball player who graduated the year before I got here named Chris Porn (it's either Chris or Scottie, I can't remember which)

I like Coco...doesn't his brother Aramis Hillary play QB at South Carolina?

I also like Boss and Champ Bailey...how can those two not be destined for football greatness with names like that? What's funny is they have an older brother...his name is "Greg" or something LOL. I would be pissed if I were him...

It was Chris Porn...you're thinking of Scottie Rice as the other basketball player.

I remember a couple years ago, we played Delaware State and their QB's last name was Doodie or something like that. I cracked up everytime they announced him making a play. Also, the in the prayer from the same game, the pastor said "Thank god for passing wind". Ah, the joy of toilet humor.

While I'm on toilet humor, I always get a chuckle out of saying John David Booty.

Ahh...good ole Jim Bob Cooter. I used to love that guy. I'm pretty sure he's the "all time 3rd string QB." I think the guy was there for 5 years and never once got higher than 3rd on the depth chart.

The UT bookstore had those hideous orange jerseys with the number 15 and COOTER on them and couldn't keep them on the shelves... all the sorority girls had 'em.

Actually the jerseys worked out fine for the coeds... the could wear them to the game on Saturday afternoon, on the street corner Saturday night, deer hunting Sunday, then on the side of the road picking up trash M-F.
