O.K. I am assuming these teams get the autobids:
A-10-- New Hampshire
Gateway-- Northern Iowa (I think that is a definite)
Big Sky-- Montana
MEAC--Hampton
OVC--Eastern Illinois
Southern--Appalachian St.
Patriot--Lehigh
Southland--Nicholls St.

These are the teams fighting for the 8 at-larges:
Texas St.
Georgia Southern
Furman
Colgate
Richmond
Massachusetts
Coastal Carolina
Southern Illinois
Youngstown St.
Cal-Poly
South Carolina St.

11 teams-- 8 bids. Right now I would say Colgate, South Carolina St. and either Cal-Poly or Coastal Carolina would be out

Thanks. Looking at this it would seem Cal Poly is in and Coastal is the 3rd time out.

I have a feeling Cal Poly gets in this year. I know some felt Lehigh took their spot last year.

Southern Illinois (7t- but lost)
Furman (10)
Richmond (17)
Coastal Carolina (20)

right now it would be, I am guessing YSU will move up with their win over WKU and CCU will drop due to having played Mansfield, but I am no computer expert :)

Actually - heard that DII aren't accounted in the computer rankings.

You are right but I bet YSU moves ahead of Coastal after today. YSU beat a pretty good WKU teams and Coastal beat a pitiful excuse of a team.

Anyway you look at it Coastal is probably 1 of about 5 teams competing for the last 2-3 spots.

It will interesting to see what the committee does.

In some but not all, Sagarin does not include DII games, but others (and i think most) such as Massey do :)

This looks about right, although games next week could knock some of them out. If Southern Illinois losses next week, they are out. I don't think that will happen, but you never know on ay given Saturday...... I'm sure there are other teams in the same boat.

Since Coastal beat SC State, I think that gives them the edge if it comes to those two teams.

Am I the only one that thinks that Richmond is going to be the one of those 11 teams to be left out? I think they're the most likely to lose in the last week since they are playing Bill and Mary. But even if they win, I just don't know if they get in over Cal Poly or Coastal. But thats just me.

The way Richmond is playing a loss to W&M would be a pretty big upset IMHO. They are one of the hottest teams in the country right now. I think Umass has a better chance faltering @ Hofstra than the Spiders do against the Tribe.
