Why is Harvard 19 and Dayton 33?

Thought I'd get that out of the way.

Carry on.

Oh come on. We'll play them in Cambridge. Twice. Just like we've had to do every other time we've ever played them.

I also raised an eye at the UNI No. 1 vote. There's a few teams that I wouldn't, but that's one.

I agree, no reason UNI should have a first place vote. Top 5 team, yes. #1 we'll have to earn in December.

I agree. I'm not saying they couldn't win the NC, because I think just about anybody in the Top Ten could. They just don't deserve a number one vote.

Farley doesn't vote in this poll.

Terry Allen-Missouri State and John Stiegelmeier-South Dakota State

Maybe Allen gave us the vote after his team managed 81 yards of total offense against us this past week, including 53 in the 4th quarter against our 2nd and 3rd string defense. He was a former UNI coach, though.

I don't know how on earth we got a #1 vote. Just like I don't know how WIU is getting more votes than SDSU and NDSU is STILL rated #25...

I agree completely it had to be the coach of one of the two teams we more or less dominated the last two weeks. It is kind of nice though!

I wonder if SDSU will be in the top 25 and finally ahead of NDSU if they beat SIU next weekend in Carbondale? xscanx

Coaches polls in all sports at all levels are such a joke it's comical.

AGS should release it's poll Sunday so the Coaches have something to work off of, so THEIR poll isn't so embarrassing.

And yes I know SDSU's Coach Stig is one of the voting coaches and I can all but guarantee it wasn't his choice to be.xwhistlex

Go Jacks!!

Sorry...I should've used a different "Smilie" so the sarcasim of the first sentence of my post could be sensed. Let's try this one: xbangx

SDSU Loses this year:
Iowa State - Big XII
UNI - #4 according to All Knowing Coaches Poll
McNeese - Triple OT
Cal Poly - #3 according to the All Knowing Coaches Poll

Oh and I forgot one other thing...SDSU just beat a ISU team 52-21 with a kneel down at the 2 yeard line with 1 minute left, with their QB throwing 7 Touchdown passes in 10 degree windchill weather.

Wow the more I type, maybe SDSU should've gotten even less votes!!xbangx "Scarcasim Smilie"

I have a strange, sneaking sense, I'm going to be really annoyed the on November 23rd, after the playoff selection, if SDSU does find a way to win out these next two weekends.

Go Jacks!!

I thought the exact same thing. I guess the Coaches do not read the newspaper or check scores. No problem though, I'm sure App. will take care of this on SAturday.

They also have UNH ahead of W&M by three spots. The other two polls got that straight this week, as well.

Same idiosyncrasy last week, but to repeat the error after Elon had a tougher time with WCU than Wofford did doesn't make any sense...especially since the 2 voting coaches from the So Con are Wagner and Lemboxoopsx xoopsx xoopsx ...maybe Lembo is still floating down Denial River? xwhistlex xwhistlex xwhistlex
