Kats' Pate and Smith SLC POW

Wade Pate and Stevie Smith were named SLC players of the week.

Pate was named offensive player of the week. He came off the bench and torched Southeastern Louisiana.

Smith was awarded POW for special teams.

Pate seems to have gotten hosed by I-aa.org for POW. :)

I was really worried Pate would not get SLC POTW. I believe a few weeks ago, Stevie Smith should've gotten it for nearly 300 all-purpose yards and he was snubbed despite the fact the Kats won...

Still not sure why TW pulled PD after just two series. Slow start maybe but that has been the story all year. Did he smart off the the coaches or say something negative to the team? Who knows? He was very congratulative of WP on the side line though.

Still waiting on that answer DD.
