Things I liked: The offense looked very good moving the ball. Another good day from Scott, Sullivan got a couple of yards on the ground against a tough Run Defense, and looked very solid throwing the ball, especially some clutch passes on that last drive

Things I didn't like: The defense continues to worry me. They make big plays from time to time, but continually have trouble tackling in key moments, and are very susceptible to the big play, especially on the ground

Princeton shot themselves in the foot today with some bad penalties, including 3 Pass Interference calls. None seemed undeserved, though, so I don't exactly think it diminishes the Colgate victory. 1 more Non-Con game to go, then it's League games to the finish

October 11th, 2008, 03:39 PM
Listened to the game on the Princeton station. They felt that they contained Scott, and that the late penalty on PU was a cheapie, but were very impressed with Sullivan (17x20 passing for 206 yds, 43 yds. rushing). All of a sudden, Colgate seems to have two good QB's.

In any event, GO RED RAIDERS!!!!!!

TheValleyRaider
October 11th, 2008, 03:52 PM
If they mean the last Pass Interference, it was definately close, but the defender definately had his arm wrapped around Simonds before the ball got there. Close call, certainly, but not out of line xtwocentsx

I'm just happy Colgate won. I have seen a lot of good Colgate teams lose to inferior Princeton clubs over many years. We needed this game and we got it.
