Bruised and battered, Pete Richardson’s Southern University Jaguars have pressed on down a road that could lead them to the SWAC West title.

The Jags have endured the disruption of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, a heartbreaking loss at Tennessee State and several injuries that have tested their depth and mettle. The Texas Southern/Southern game will be a shootout. Hopefully the Jags running game will be able to control the clock.

<------------------These two guys will do their best to keep Mr. Reid off the field. (providing Orlando doesn't get too crazy) A little pressure from the D-Line will help also.

Well, TSU's run defense is very poor. If the Jags running game is consistent, it will be very easy for SU to control the clock...

TSU allowed Arkansas State to run all over them, even when they were running solely between the tackles in the second half.

Against TXST, Karrington Bush ran five times for 112 yards! Holy crap...
