First the MNF mention and now a vote! A banner week in Monmouth football. And I'm guessing that the vast majority of the unwashed masses don't know that there are 2 Monmouths out there (kinda like when there were 2 teams named the Roughriders in the CFL)...

We are Albany and we are a state university? That's also why they changed the name to UAlbany on everything. Used to be Albany(NY) on the ticker and everything else. Now its just UAlbany.

Yeah, and when did they move Albany State University from Georgia to New York? And wouldn't it just be easier to use their initials, ASU?

Monmouth College, of the Division III Midwestern Conference, has a fine old football tradition and one of the longer rivalries in college football, with conference foe Knox College of Galesburg, IL. :)
