It's the average of a polls and a bunch of power ratings. Here is the top 25 by that measure:

that site is great, they used to include AGS on there, thats how I found this site way back in 2005, so either love em for that or hate em for that lol

They may still include AGS. It might just be that it hasn't come out yet. I probably shouldn't have posted it until late in the week when it's certain that all the polls they use are out.

ya I doubt there all listed. in 2005 you had to scroll to the right to see them all.

They update the site as rankings come in. You really do have to wait until everything comes out to get the "final consensus" for each week.

Wow - Furman at #6 and NDSU at #19? That's going to make one group very happy and the other not so much. Top 5 is kind of a tossup anyway, but I'd probably drop UNI below Richmond and JMU. Interesting take on things, though...

You've got to love some of these rankings though. Brown is 6 in one ranking. Harvard is 4, and UND is 5. Dayton is also 6 in a ranking. The only thing all those teams have in common is that they are all undefeated at this time. I think it would be great if one of those teams actually got there in one of the human polls but it's not gonna happen.
