This could be a lonely day for me, but maybe some PLers will poke their heads in occasionally to see how it's going

Only one change to report in the Starting 11s from last week. FS Mike Barry is listed as this week's starter over David Morgan. Barry's apparently been fighting an injury, and it's likely they'll rotate in and out as they've done so far this year. No changes to the offensive starters, but Charles Babb is now listed as the backup QB to Greg Sullivan, replacing Fr. Steve Rizzo

The Jordan Scott Record Countdown
Career Rushing Yards (Colgate): 444 yards
Career Rushing Yards (PL): 59 yards
Career Scoring (PL): 41 points
Career Rushing TDs (PL): 6 TDs
Consecutive 100 Yard Games (PL): 3 games
Career 100 Yard Games (PL): 3 games
Career 200 Yard Games (PL): 1 game
Career Carries (Division I): 134 carries

WR Pat Simonds needs 64 recieving yards to break the 1,000 mark for his career

TheValleyRaider
September 20th, 2008, 11:44 AM
A change announced in the radio pregame

Carlton Walker replaces Paul Mancuso at NT

Jim Meara replaces Walker at the other DT position

Meara and Mancuso will likely rotate in and out

Fun game, but plenty of ugly. 18 total penalties in the game, 9 for each team

Congrats to Jordan Scott on becoming the Patriot League's all-time leading rusher xhurrayx xhurrayx xhurrayx xhurrayx

He also racked up 241 total yards on the day, breaking another Patriot League record, this one for 200 yard rushing days xhurrayx xhurrayx xhurrayx xhurrayx

Greg Sullivan carried the ball for 136 total yards, making him the 1st Colgate QB to rush for 100 yards since 1998. Some fellow named Ryan Vena xeekx xhurrayx xeekx xhurrayx xeekx xhurrayx xeekx xhurrayx

Pat Simonds needed 64 yards for 1,000 in his career. He wound up with 63, for 999 total xoopsx :o
He'll likely get that mark next week xthumbsupx

Good win for Colgate. They had their backs to the wall on several occasions and made some big plays to get out of it. The rest of the Ivy League should keep an eye on Dartmouth's offense. Jenny made some great touch passes, and really kept them moving downfield

Thank you very much, Valley Raider. Excellent coverage, and much appreciated. The game was much closer than the score. I saw the game at Dartmouth last year, when Colgate came back after being down 0-28 (I think) well into the 3rd Q.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to update for the next two games. My girlfriend will be visiting this weekend, so I'll have to be otherwise occupied ;). The next weekend, I'll be live and in person at Andy Kerr for the Homecoming game against Georgetown xnodx I can promise being back and fully-invested the next weekend for Princeton and beyond xthumbsupx
