What internet site would you folks recommend as the best place ot get updated FCS scores throughout the day? I get frustrated with the tickers on TV and some of the web sites because they have so many scores. Anywhere to just see FCS scores updated throughout the day?

thanks in advance

www.si.com is what I usually use.

You can go here: http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/scoreboard?confId=81&weekNumber=4&seasonYear=2008

That's all FCS scores for the day.

I use ESPN, SI was also listed

CBS, Yahoo and Sports Network also all have scores

The most accurate respository for score info on Game Day will likely be right here, as we use just about all of them plus updates from the games we're actually watching and listening to xnodx xthumbsupx

Not to say that you shouldn't use that website, but I've found that ESPN.com doesn't update scores near as quickly as http://si.com/football/ncaa/scoreboards/diviaa/today/

I always go to cbs sports......then select by conference...but I'm sure you can do that on all sites.....just my preference.

Thanks everyone. I hope to see SHSU play Kansas tough and will be very interested in the Appy score, that should be a great game.

This is my fave because they update it as fast as any and only FCS scores are displayed in a concise format:

http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfoot2/scores/live/scoreboard.aspx?season=

FWIW, I like CBS Sportsline for scores. They update regularly enough and the layout is easy to maneuver around and gets a lot of games on the screen without scrolling.

My typical reminder...

There are three stat services that provide the score updates. Each of the 'players' in the score business get their stats and scores from one of those.

Each press box has different methods for reporting scores. Sometimes, they are the only one to call out. Other times, they just let people call in. Most of the time, a good press box will call after every score, start of quarters, end of half, end of game.
