Anyone know of an internet site who sells mini FCS football helmets? In the past I have purchased helmets from MYTEAMSPIRIT.COM but, it seems they are no longer in business. Since WCU updated our helmet, I'd love to have one. Based on past practice I would have to think the university won't take advantage of the excitement concerning the new helmet /logo and license company to sell them. Any help or serious suggestions would be appreciated.

This site covers quite a few schools, but I don't see WCU on the list, sorry.
Might help someone else out though. I know we can just go to the MSU bookstore and get the Bobcats mini-helmets.

http://www.retro-sports.com/productline.cfm?productlineID=2I recommend Retro-Sports. In addition to the owner being a big FCS supporter, I have purchased a mini-helmet there and a couple other things. The service was excellent and the items are great.

You just have to look around the net. I have seen mini Furman helmets a few places for about $30.00.

If any fellow Delaware fans happen across this thread, National 5&10 in Newark sent a team-ssued helmet to Schutt to get an exact color match (instead of the darker Michigan color) and Schutte also now paints on the wings instead of applying a decal. You have to give Brian Handloff, the owner, due credit for this and for making the new Under Armour jerseys available for purchase. As mini-helmets go, this is pretty tight:

I know Riddell makes a South Dakota State helmet, they sell them in our bookstore.

Riddell doesn't make a south dakota state available on a regular basis.. It's probably a one time special order for the bookstore only as with most bookstores... Riddell or Schutt won't make a mini helmet out of the blue for any team they don't have a decent demand for on a regular basis..

They both just added Appalachian state last year after the big win.. Schutt will occasionally add a team for one year to their regular line if there has been someone who has done a recent special order of a team over a given period and see some potential additional interest elsewhere.. We had them make McNeese and Southern especially for us.

I put together the entire Big Sky Conference for 2012. The following were available, though not all online: Cal Poly, UC Davis, Eastern WA, Idaho State, Weber State, Montana, Montana State, North Dakota. Cal Poly, Davis, EW and Weber were only available through their campus bookstores. The following helmets I created myself by purchasing helmets with the correct base color and using decals available through bookstores, from which I cut away surrounding material: Sacramento State, Portland State, Northern CO, Northern AZ.

Instead of Scheels, go to ndsubookstore.com for a NDSU Bison mini helmet.

We don't sell ours in the bookstore, but you can get Schutt ones online. I prefer the old school ones with the maroon though, and I have a few of those lying around the house with some signatures on them

Just a note that if anyone has any issues obtaining a mini-helmet, just post in this thread and I'm positive someone from your school will offer to help out.
