:) :) :) Western Kentucky is finally playing to their potential. The Defense has tightened up against a good passing offense and the whole team has eliminated those mistakes that lose games (fumbles and penalties).

I was concerned about WIU because I heard they were a good passing team.

Go Toppers!!!!!

It is about time that we have a complete game on all sides of the ball. I know WIU was a strong passing team, it is nice to see we shut them down for the most part. It makes me feel MUCH better about facing the Salukis at LT Smith next weekend! But still not assuming a W for my beloved Toppers!

Let me say that WIU looked like crap and the Toppers had a lot to do with that. the Neck D is about the worst I have seen in the 20 years I have been following the team. They friggin jump around so much they get themselves out of position the majority of the time.

LaFalse(my way of spelling it) reverted back to last years form. He held on to the ball far too long instead of just throwing it away. He had to have been sacked 8 times.

Left after 3rd and glad to hear Patterson went to Ducey.

I am thinking Patterson needs to go. The team looked uninspired and lacked discipline and they continue to put the ball on the ground far too much.

Topper D lineman #93 was kickin arse and taking names tonight, impressive player.

Thanks Harry for the info on the game (for those of us who cannot be there). Glad to see it was a clean game and no major incidents. Give your coach some more time...the Gate is tough top to bottom. It cannot be a sweep every year!

Patterson has been here for awhile and it seems as if he is losing his grip on the team IMO. There seemed to be some turmoil in the offseason and going thru 2 DC before the season started.

It is no secret that Patterson wants a IA job, people have turned him down so he should get the hint. This years team is an embarassment. In the Gateway you cannot afford to up and down, you need consistentcy and it is not there.

The second team RB kicked some tail tonight as well. You guys have an impressive running game (though probably looked better against what was supposed to be a D).
