UCD Defense forces a three & out.

NDSU about to punt.

Officials claiming he touched the ball.

NDSU misses a field goal.

So far the UCD Defense has been able to stop NDSU's Steffes. Hopefully this is the story for the rest of the game.

UGH, Demario Warren "fumbles" the ball at the Bison's 47 yard-lilne.

Bison recover.

The replays show that his knee was down beforehand.

Bleh. What's up, refs?

O-Line doing a great job with pass protection. Playcalling could be a little more imaginative. 2 turnovers in the first half will do you in.

What a change.

Two years ago, when the Ags last traveled to Fargo, I was driving my daughter down to UCSB for her junior year. We lost the KHTK signal just above Ketlleman City on I-5. I couldn't find the score in any Central Coast or So. Cal. Paper and didn't know what happened for three days. Think the Ags were slightly ahead when the omega beta curve went to distortion. (EE talk)

Now, I have this silly machine and all kindsa input along with the great reporting from 1140 am. I'm blessed.

If you can beat a Pac 10 team, just maybe on any given day UCD is capable of beating ANY 1AA team. Afterall, with a little kicking help earlier in the season UCD could easily be 6-1. Just ask UNH, another overrated tea (I guess) that barely squeezed out a victory, or PSU who also barely squeezed out a victory, and any other team that has played the Aggies.

A little East Coast bias from one of those fans who can't see past the Mississippi. Coastal and Hampton both are SOOOO much better than Davis and NDSU. Yeah, right.

Attendance was 16,193. NDSU's average for this year if 14,594. This might put us in the top-10 in I-AA for average attendance. We were #11 this week (not counting teams who play on neutral sites).

Yes it was a great win for Davis, especially in Fargo. But to say that any team is overrated is a stretch coming from a CCU fan.

I can't get them to admit that our win over a quality program like yours will mean more than their win over mighty Delaware State. I would hardly put you in the same class as Del State.

Coastal89
October 22nd, 2005, 05:10 PM
Why would you compare UCD to Del. St. Del. St. would be more comparable to your win over Sac. St. UCD and JMU would be a better comparison.

Its so hard to compare teams from the Coasts...with the lack of TV coverage, i've hardly seen a snap from an east coast team (except for watching New Hamphire @ Toomey Field).

Anyway, great win for the Ags.
I was very impressed with the Bison webcast, fans, and band. They have a great thing going there. That place was real loud.

It is true, the Aggies play WAY better in "big" games.
I think its kind of funny that the NDSU/Aggie game is almost a complete opposite of the SDSU/Aggie game. Think about it.

Bring on the 2 loss Mustangs....Homecoming Bonfire, baby...come on home alums!

I thought UC-Davis played a pretty good game. NDSU seemed a little flat from the start. Pretty much the inverse of the game last year, UC-Davis dominated the line on both sides of the ball.

Congrats to the Aggies on a good win!

SochorField
October 22nd, 2005, 06:02 PM
yeah, last year was soooo frustrating. The Bison controlled the line of scrimmage the entire game.
Big crowd, homecoming....what happened to the Bison? I really expected NDSU to come out blazing. Maybe the Cal Foly beating really affected this team.
The Ags came out fired up. Aggie D held Steffes to -2 yards on 8 carries in the first half...very impressive.

Bison Guy

The kids will learn. A tremendous defensive battle throughout. I figured you guys would have the advantage from a size point of view. Silly things change momentum ( which is a strange thing in sports, I'm used to it in engineering) and what happens, happens.

The Bison are a great team and school with almost unparalled fan support.

My respects and cu at the new field next year.
