I'm surprised they tabbed SHSU over UCA.

However, they "tabbed" us 7th last year.

Only thing that matters is on the field.

xnodx Last year people were not quite believers when it came to the purple bears. This year, there is a target on their back everytime they walk into an SLC game (except for possibly the last one :D )

Everyone knows who Nathan Brown is...and if they don't know the name on that tight end that UCA has, they should soon enough...

Agreed '75.

I will say this, we will be better personnel wise this year on defense, significantly better.

Therefore, we have a chance to be a much better team in '08 than we were in '07.

This still does not tell us how many games we might win or lose as I am sure virtually every team in the conference would believe they have improved over last year.

How could anyone not know Branson? Both he and Brown should be draft picks next year. :)
