Terrible, terrible, Terrible game.

Bears pull within 2 of the 'toppers at two seperate times in the final 7 minutes but could never get that one big stop on defense.

Toppers finally put it away on a reverse on 3rd and 10 with a minute left in the game.

Terrible.

It was a game filled with terrible plays and lots of penalties. Slow starting but turned into a GREAT game. Just got home. Both teams had some big plays.

Toppers 3-0 in the Gatway, SIU down at the half, Tops could be #1 again.

Tops should be, barring a miracle comeback from the Dawgs.

WKU has got to stop shooting themselves in the foot with the late game stupid mistakes. It almost cost us the game lat week with Ill. St. and could've done the same thing today. We were leading 23-7 in the 4th and forced another MSU punt, only to give the ball back on a roughing the punter penalty. MSU scores a TD. On our next possession what do we do? Fumble and let MSU run it in for another TD to pull within 2 points. We pulled it out (again), but if we don't eliminate those late game mistakes, they're eventually going to catch up with us. With a comfortable 4th quarter lead, you just can't keep giving the opposition chances. We're good and lucky, but most importantly at this point, careless. That has to change.
