despite having tremendous fan support and playing to capacity or near capacity crowds in recent years... the attendence record for Delaware Stadium was set over 30 years ago... in a 1973 game vs Temple... 23,619. In fact... the top five UD attendence figures were all from the '70's and '80's. And yet there are still no plans for expansion or a new stadium in Newark. Talk about an administration that has no vision. Obviously the Delaware athletic department has more problems then just an bad playing surface... :mad:

Might have more to do with a stricter fire marshal, that won't let them sell those extra standing room tickets they got away with back when.

Senor Pollo: we don't use the word "handicapped" in civilized society any longer, the buzzwords of choice are "challenged" and "special needs". Many UD fans have special needs and it is indeed nice to know that the Tub has been modified to accommodate those individuals.
