I predict that if you think Pete's Power Poll is hard to understand, wait until you see some of the individual polls/rankings that make up the GPI. Thank goodness for the law of averages and throwing out the high/low.

Based on these polls/rankings here goes, the first GRPI (grande rosso power index):

1 NH
2 App St
3 Cal Poly
4 NDSU
5 Montana ST
6 Montana
7 JMU
8 Northern Iowa
9 McNeese
10 WKU
11 YSU
12 Lehigh
13 Villanova
14 GSU
15 TX State
16 CCU
17 UC Davis
18 Princeton
19 Hampton
20 Delaware
21 Harvard
22 IL State
23 Portland State
24 E Wash
25 Furman

(yes that's right, the AGS #2, SIU, is not even in the top 25)

These are NOT my top 25, but what I think the GPI will look like.

The BCS will not let Massey release his rankings, for instance, until tonight.

Oops, looks like he is doing them now.
weird thing this year is that one is only able to look at the rankings sorted by the Massey BCS, not the regular massey ratings
