Keeler is under contract through the 2011 season but will not reveal his annual income, which UD also does not make public. It is surely, however, less than the $275,000-plus annual package reportedly given Mike London as the new coach at Colonial Athletic Association rival Richmond, which never has reached a national championship game. Just before Dave Clawson quit as Richmond coach to become Tennessee offensive coordinator at $400,000 per year in December, he’d signed a new deal approaching $300,000 annually.

So what would be the price of the "commitment"? The article seems to suggest the $400K that Clawson took to leave Richmond as the benchmark.

You boys better hope none of the Louisiana FCS teams ever get into a position to pay a head coach that kind of money xnodx (I exclude the SWAC from my comment as they pay pretty well already due to the Classic)

Pay the man. He got UD a ring in 2003 and is liable to get 'em a couple more.
