I-AA Mid-Major versus I-AA in 2005

Well, the "Mid-Majors" are 4 wins and 16 losses against 1-AA this season so far. Probably better than some might have predicted. As always, there are some close losses by the "Mid-Majors" as well as some blowouts by the 1-AA's. Not much different than football at any level.... Guess what? There is no such thing as "Mid-Major". There is only 1-AA! This should not be that difficult of a concept for everyone to accept. I'll post again at the end of the season with the final results.

Yeah, that's the #4 (of 226) D-III team has to go to overtime (after trailing 28-7) to beat the #10 (of 22) mid-major.

Overlap doesn't mean 'practically the same'.

I saw the Rowan score too. One apple doesn't spoil a bunch. All in all, I have been pretty impressed with the 'mid-major' group this year, especially the NEC. It is nice to see the games get more competitive. It's good for all of I-AA.
