Every Sunday look for new posting of a conference comparison.
This is a thumbnail compilation of final stats and subtracting those
of roster departures due to graduation, eligibility, etc. Should
provide a quick sketch of returning talent vs conference foes.

SR-RB = subtracted yards per game for roster departures
SR-QB = ditto
SR-WR = ditto

.. number of games played, not including long snappers if known

given this information and the conclusion of last season, why arent we talking about WEBER making a run at it? Statistically they should be considered in the top 3 finishes for conference next year.....this should be a great year for parody in the BSC

I've always considered the Big Sky ripe for parody. ;D

However, you're right about Weber, McBride has been slowly turning that program around and it will be nice to see it be respectable. Much better than when I went there.

It is going to be a very interesting season. I see EWU, UM, NAU, MSU, Weber and even PSU with a chance.

You're probably right with those teams. UNC is about another year from making some noise in the conference. We're still going to be very young.

And yet somehow you will still win against us.

"It's my belief that the Bobcat athletic program is on the verge of greatness, and we are going to enter into a new era of being the dominant team in the Big Sky."

I can't believe how easy it is to retort against cat fans when they try to belittle Grizzly accomplishments.

Chances of a bobcat fan ever having a signature that reads like Ronbo's.

But in spite of the envy I have went to the trouble of creating an appropriate sig that is based on Ronbo's for you. No need to thank me as I did it out pity.

2 Straight Big Sky Championships
4 Playoff appearances.....EVER!

Hope you like it.

How did I belittle the Grizzlies accomplishments? I simply pointed out that in my humble opinion both streaks end next year.

It's very possible you're right. But I think what gave it that little extra was....

2008 is up for grabs in BSC football. I think EWU has to be the favorite, but you never know. Good luck!!

I am predicting we will go up 3-1 against you since moving up.

I would go and say that it will be....

EWU ( dont know exactly how the head coaching change is going to work, but the talent is there )

GRIZ ( its the griz....even if they are rebuilding)

NAU (only cause NAU plays @ Montana this year)

toss up b/w MSU/WSU (MSU looks to be solid....Weber returns a LOT of players from a team that was on fire towards the end of the year)

PSU ( Glanville?)

ISU/UNC (can only get better.....both return key positions)

SAC (Defense was the glue that kept this team from an 0-fer season....however, they lost most of the talent)

Certainly overdue, if not ripe. xnodx
