Charleston Southern to take on Miami in 2008 football season opener

In what amounts to the biggest game in the history of Charleston Southern's football program, the Buccaneers will open the 2008 season Aug. 28 against the Miami Hurricanes.

The game will be Miami's first game in their new home stadium — Dolphin Stadium, formerly Joe Robbie Stadium. The game will pay CSU its largest guarantee ever and is part of an increasing effort to play BCS opponents in the future. CSU will play at Florida in 2009.

The U still has a road in front of them. Hopefully Marve can step up and get the QB job.

If you read the article he did not get specific. It is just the first any of us Buc fans have heard of stadium improvements. We already knew about the athletic complex. I suspect it will include adding lights, maybe a few more seats.

Yea QB position is a huge problem, but Shannon is turning it around down there.
