Only 5 HS signees, transfers can't be announced until Monday since that's when Spring Semester starts for Delaware (UD has a 6 week winter session that delays the start of the Spring semester by several weeks compared to other schools).

Two transfers are known, QB Schoenhoft from Ohio St, and DB Ferrine from Notre Dame. Small senior class this year (UD only had 9 scholarship seniors this year) so small recruiting class. Team was plenty young last year.

Depends what you mean by a surprise - it was never going to be a huge number, but it probably could have been as high as 8.

I dont feel bad with 6. 3 transfers and 3 high school signees. I do expect to see more as we get into the spring. We had alot of freshman last year and only 5 or 6 graduates.
