West Salem's Gallagher, a 4.0 student, to play at Dartmouth
The two-way all-Central Valley player is being recruited as a tight end by the Big Green.
John Gallagher had his eyes squarely set on the Ivy League.
Gallagher is a 4.0 grade point average student at West Salem High School with a full load of advanced placement and honors courses and ranks No. 1 in the school’s senior class.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Gallagher will make his presence felt in the Ivys next fall.
Gallagher has verbally committed to play football at Dartmouth and will sign Wednesday, the first day high school seniors can sign college letters of intent for football.
